Attributs du produit
This is a synthetic peptide designed for use in combination with anti-UBE3B antibody (Catalog #: ARP43387_P050). It may block above mentioned antibody from binding to its target protein in western blot and/or immunohistochecmistry under proper experimental settings. There is no guarantee for its use in other applications.
Each Investigator should determine their own optimal working dilution for specific applications.

Sujet
The modification of proteins with ubiquitin is an important cellular mechanism for targeting abnormal or short-lived proteins for degradation. Ubiquitination involves at least three classes of enzymes: ubiquitin-activating enzymes, or E1s, ubiquitin-conjugating enzymes, or E2s, and ubiquitin-protein ligases, or E3s. UBE3B is a member of the E3 ubiquitin-conjugating enzyme family. UBE3B may interact with other proteins and play a role in stress response. This gene encodes a member of the E3 ubiquitin-conjugating enzyme family. The encoded protein may interact with other proteins and play a role in stress response. Alternatively spliced transcript variants encoding the same protein isoform have been identified for this gene.
